Another Test post

So here is how this works.
1. Go to the Blogger.com and choose the "Newsletter" blog.
2. Create a post with images, video, text.. w/e you want.
3. Publish it.

There is another google product called FeedBurner that will look for new posts everyday at 5pm (we can set the time) and if there is one there, it will email it to the "Newsletter" list of email addresses.

People can get on that list by signing up. Currently that sign up tool is on the test page I sent you. If you like it, tell me where to put it on the site and from there the user takes over.
User actions:
1. enter email address into the tool.
2. Put in the "I am not a spam robot" code. Someting like "F79D2" that they are prompted to enter.
3. Verify the email it send to them.

All of that is standard practice and I am not even sure we can bypass it if we wanted too.

And that is it. As for getting masses of people on the list... that might be a pretty manual process right now. Basically you will need to do it the same way you signed up. I will keep looking for a mass import option, but most of those type of service come with a price tag too.

Last thing, this is a TEST post. When we are ready to make it live on the site, we will need to delete all of the test posts, or anyone who signs up will get them too.

Let me know,
Cam
